Will Cliphanger fit my phone?
The Cliphanger is universal and will fit most phones. If your phone or other
portable device has a flat, sturdy back/battery door, then it should fit and
work well.
What if the phone has a flimsy battery door?
Some phones have battery doors made of a very thin piece of plastic designed
only to cover the battery. They are usually attached to the phone by sliding
them into place and do not have a spring-loaded catch to lock them in
position. Using a Cliphanger with such phones can result in the back
detaching from the phone unexpectedly. For such phones, we have battery door
reinforcement tabs. These heavy duty clear vinyl tabs can be placed along
the seams on either side of the battery door to keep it from shifting and
becoming detached.
What is a Shield?
A Shield is a phone specific protective cover which snaps on to the phone.
It not only protects the phone, it also provides a sturdy mounting surface
to which the Cliphanger can be attached.
What if the back of my phone is not flat?
Some phones have features that might interfere with properly attaching a
Cliphanger. If modifying the mounting location doesn’t help, using two
pieces of adhesive tape to create more distance between Cliphanger and the
phone can be a solution.
Will Cliphanger interfere with the camera?
For bar-style phones with the camera aperture on the back, Cliphanger can
usually be attached so that it does not block the aperture. For flip-style
phones, the “flip” portion can be held to change the camera angle and avoid
interference if necessary. See the video

What if Cliphanger breaks?
If you meet the conditions of the warranty, submit a Claim and the
manufacture will
replace it.
How do I remove Cliphanger?
Use a steady, firm twisting motion and the adhesive tape will eventually
give. You can use a small amount of alcohol to clean any remaining residue
from the back of the phone. See the video
Can the adhesive tape be re-used?
No. Once the initial bond is broken, the characteristics of the adhesive are
compromised and the tape should not be re-used.
Where can I get more adhesive tape?
The industrial strength adhesive we use has unique characteristics that
allow Cliphanger to stay attached to your phone in a variety of conditions
over a long period of time. It is not a standard adhesive that can be
purchased in regular retail environments. We make it available for purchase
on our website for a very reasonable price.
Why didn’t the adhesive tape stick?
If new adhesive tape does not bond or stay bonded, it is usually because the
surface was not prepared properly before application. If prepared properly,
the adhesive tape should form a near-permanent bond with the surface. Use
the following instructions for best adhesion.
Where can I buy Cliphanger?
At this time we are a web only business. We do have some presence in other
marketing environments, but there is no consistency as to location or time.
How long does it take to get my order/replacement?
Orders and replacements generally go out the following business day the
order or claim was submitted. Packages usually arrive within 5 business days
