Installing Cliphanger or Autohook with Adhesive Tape

NOTE: For best adhesion, use only new tape on prepared surfaces that are dry, smooth, hard and non-porous with a temperature of at least 70° F. Allow 24 hours for max bond.

1. Prepare bonding surfaces by cleaning with isopropyl alcohol. Turn cloth frequently to avoid re-applying residue or protectant.
2. Apply tape to Cliphanger or Autohook and then to desired surface. Mount Cliphanger on back of phone just high enough to place finger through loop. Do not block camera aperture.
3. Apply firm pressure after placement.
4. If necessary, bond can be broken with a slow, firm twisting motion.

 Using Cliphanger

1. Place the device in your right hand.
2. Flex open the free end of Cliphanger with your index finger or thumb.
3. Slip free end through front pant loop or purse strap and let hang.
4. Pull up and away from your pant loop or purse strap to remove.

 Using Autohook

1. Angle Cliphanger into hook and let hang to lock in place.
2. To remove, rotate upwards and pull.

About Camera Phones

For bar-style phones with the camera aperture on the back, Cliphanger can usually be attached so that it does not block the aperture. For flip-style phones, the “flip” portion can be held to change the camera angle and avoid interference if necessary.
